
Jaipur, February 16 Seven workers died after a fire broke out in a chemical factory in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, on Monday, officials said. Two workers are still trapped inside the facility.
The fire occurred in the Khushkhera-Karoli industrial area of Bhiwadi.
Additional District Magistrate Sumita Mishra said that police learned about the incident during a routine patrol, after which a rescue operation was immediately launched.
"Nine people were trapped inside. Seven bodies have been recovered so far," she said, adding that frantic efforts were underway to rescue the remaining two workers.
