Patna, May 10 — The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee on Saturday organised a spirited ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Patna to express unwavering support for the Indian armed forces following their successful strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor.

The symbolic march began at the iconic Mahatma Gandhi statue in Gandhi Maidan and culminated at Kargil Chowk, drawing a large gathering of Congress leaders, workers, and citizens waving the national flag. The procession echoed with slogans of solidarity and patriotism.

Prominent leaders at the forefront included senior Congress leader and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru, and state party president Rajesh Kumar.

Speaking at the event, Baghel praised the armed forces for their courage and decisive action.

“We are proud of our armed forces for keeping the country’s head high on the global stage. Through Operation Sindoor, they gave a befitting response by destroying nine terrorist strongholds in Pakistan. The people of India and the Congress party stand firmly with our forces,” he said.
The yatra served as a strong message of national unity and a public endorsement of the military's counter-terrorism efforts. Participants said the event was not only about political solidarity but also a reflection of the collective national sentiment in support of India’s defense personnel.
