A free football coaching and referee training program was held in Biswanath.

A free football coaching and referee training program concluded today at the Golia Football Ground in Biswanath Chariali, Assam.

The program was organized by Kaziranga National Park in collaboration with Score for Nature. The training began on February 10 and aimed to encourage young people in the region through sports.

Around 230 trainees participated in the program. Coaching was provided by international trainers Stephen Parkins from England and Alberto Domarico from Spain.

The main objective of the initiative was to combine community sports with wildlife conservation awareness. The program was previously launched at Kafue National Park in Zambia in early 2024.

Several organizations, including WWF-India, NextGen Coaching, Pathkins Labs and local group Chuk-Chuk, supported the event.
