New Delhi, Jan 2 (PTI) – With just three days left before Delhi goes to the polls on February 5, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari launched the party’s fourth campaign song, "Dil Walo Ki Dilli Ko Ab BJP Sarkar Chahiye". The song, sung by former MP Dinesh Lal Yadav, has been creatively directed by senior BJP leader Neel Kant Bakshi.

At the launch event, Tiwari explained that the idea for the song emerged during discussions about the BJP’s manifesto. "When our manifesto was announced, someone asked me how we plan to fulfill the promises made in it. I responded by saying that everything listed is already being implemented in Haryana and Maharashtra," he said.

This conversation, he added, inspired the creation of another campaign song to inform Delhi's residents about the BJP’s governance track record. "People need to know about these developments, and this song will help spread that awareness," the Northeast Delhi MP remarked.

Highlighting public sentiment, Tiwari recounted an incident from a recent campaign event. "While addressing a gathering, I forgot to mention that those earning up to ₹12 lakh annually will now be completely exempt from income tax under the Union Budget. Someone from the crowd reminded me. This shows how aware the people are and their inclination toward a BJP government," he said.

Emphasizing the need for change in Delhi’s leadership, Tiwari asserted that "no real work is happening in the city." He believes the song will serve as a wake-up call and motivate voters to bring the BJP to power on February 5.

BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva echoed this sentiment, noting the strong influence of Tiwari’s campaign songs in shaping public opinion. With the election campaign in its final phase, the latest song aims to highlight governance concerns under the current administration.

Delhi’s 70-member Assembly will go to the polls on February 5, with results scheduled to be announced on February 8.
