BJP MLA Raises Concern Over Three Missing Civilians in Kathua; Search Operation Underway

Massive Search Operation Launched in Lohai Malhar Area​

In a concerning development, BJP MLA Satesh Sharma brought to light the disappearance of three civilians from Kathua district's Lohai Malhar area during Friday's session of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. Sharma urged the state government to provide immediate answers regarding the missing individuals.

According to official reports, the three civilians vanished on Thursday night while traveling to attend a wedding. A large-scale search operation has been launched by authorities in the Lohai Malhar region, part of the Billawar constituency, to locate the missing persons.
Highlighting the urgency of the matter as soon as the Assembly convened, MLA Sharma stated, "I want to inform you about the missing three civilians. We want to seek answers from the government."
Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather acknowledged Sharma’s point of order but suggested postponing the discussion until after the Question Hour.
The search operation continues actively, with local authorities intensifying efforts to trace the whereabouts of the missing individuals.
