New Delhi, May 12 – BluPine Energy has announced the successful financial closure of its 100 MW solar power project in Tharad, Gujarat, after securing a Rs 376 crore green loan from Standard Chartered.

The project is being implemented by Solarcraft Power India 5, a wholly owned subsidiary of BluPine Energy. According to the company, the loan documents have been officially executed, marking a major milestone for the renewable energy initiative.

As outlined in the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the solar power plant is slated for commissioning in the first half of 2026. Once operational, it is expected to play a vital role in advancing Gujarat’s renewable energy goals and bolstering India’s national clean energy transition efforts.

BluPine Energy, a renewable energy platform established in India by Actis — a global leader in sustainable infrastructure — is backed by a significant USD 800 million commitment from Actis’ Energy Fund 5. The company is currently developing a clean energy portfolio exceeding 4 GW, entirely focused on India.

This latest project reinforces BluPine’s growing footprint in the Indian green energy sector and underlines the company’s mission to accelerate sustainable power generation in the country.
