Bomb Threat at Tamil Nadu House in Delhi Turns Out to Be Hoax

A bomb threat made to the Tamil Nadu House located in the upscale Chanakyapuri area of New Delhi on Saturday morning turned out to be a false alarm, according to officials.

Delhi Fire Services (DFS) Chief Atul Garg confirmed that the department received a call around 10:30 AM reporting the bomb threat. Responding promptly, a fire tender accompanied by senior officers was dispatched to the scene, and the building was swiftly evacuated and searched thoroughly.

However, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi), Devesh Kumar Mahla, contradicted the earlier report, stating that no bomb threat had been received at Tamil Nadu House.

Following a meticulous inspection, officials confirmed that no suspicious items were found, and the threat was declared a hoax.

Investigations into the origin of the misleading call are underway. Authorities have reinforced security measures around the premises as a precaution
