Ranchi, February 12 Two individuals were arrested with brown sugar in Ranchi, Jharkhand, according to police on Thursday.
Approximately 61 grams of brown sugar, valued at Rs 12 lakh, was recovered from their possession, according to a police statement.
"The Ranchi SSP received information that the two accused were traveling by bus from Sasaram in Bihar, carrying brown sugar. Based on this information, a raid was conducted, and the two were arrested on Wednesday night," SP Paras Rana told reporters.
Further investigation is ongoing.
