
February 11, New Delhi - The sacred relics of Lord Buddha, the Devnimori relics, are returning to India today after a week-long public exhibition in Colombo. The holy Devnimori relics, which were displayed abroad for the first time, were exhibited at the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo for seven days. Devotees from across Sri Lanka visited the temple in large numbers to pay their respects, making it a significant cultural event. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Sri Lankan President, who described it as a blessing for the nation and expressed gratitude to India. The event reinforced the long-standing spiritual ties between India and Sri Lanka.
