New Delhi, February 11 Prices of cottonseed oil cake increased by Rs 7 to Rs 3,270 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators created new positions due to increased demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher by Rs 7, or 0.21 percent, at Rs 3,270 per quintal with an open interest of 52,930 lots.
Market participants said that the increased demand for cattle feed mainly influenced the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
