Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 26: Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan offered prayers at the renowned Lord Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple on Wednesday.
According to temple authorities, General Chauhan, accompanied by his spouse, visited the temple at 7:00 am and completed the darshan within ten minutes. A few officers from the Southern Air Command also joined them during the visit.
As a token of respect, the temple administration presented General Chauhan with a calendar and a photograph of Lord Padmanabha Swamy.
Sources indicate that the CDS was in Thiruvananthapuram to attend a seminar at the headquarters of the Southern Air Command.
