New Delhi, February 12 Abhishek Sharma appears fit to play in the crucial T20 match against Pakistan, said India spinner Varun Chakravarthy on Thursday.
"From what I've heard, he looks good, he also practiced today. He told me that he's on the road to recovery," said Chakravarthy, who shone with the ball in India's victory over Namibia here.
India will face their arch-rivals Pakistan in Colombo on Sunday.
Abhishek, who missed the match against Namibia due to a stomach infection, was discharged from the hospital here on Wednesday.
At the toss, India captain Suryakumar Yadav had said that Abhishek will miss one or two games before regaining full fitness.
Sanju Samson opened alongside Ishan Kishan in Abhishek's absence.
