
Major Asian indices ended the day with mixed results. The Shanghai Composite Index in China declined by over 1.2 percent, while the Kospi index in South Korea fell by 0.3 percent and the Nikkei 225 index in Japan dipped by over 0.2 percent. On the other hand, the Hang Seng index in Hong Kong gained by over 0.5 percent, and the Straits Times Index in Singapore added marginally.
Major European indices were trading higher today. The CAC 40 in France advanced by over 0.3 percent, the FTSE 100 in London edged up by more than 0.2 percent, and the DAX in Germany was trading over 0.1 percent higher at the last update.
