CISF Raises Coastal Security Awareness with Cyclothon.webp

The 'Vande Mataram Coastal Cyclothon' awareness rally, organized by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), reached Puducherry and resumed its journey today. Colonel Ashish Tiwari, the NCC Group Commander of Puducherry, flagged off the Puducherry leg of the rally from Beach Road near the Gandhi Statue.

The cyclothon is being organized to raise awareness about coastal security and to promote national unity and community participation. A total of 64 CISF personnel, including 33 women, are participating in the 25-day expedition, which will cover a distance of 6,553 kilometers along the coastline. From Puducherry, the team will proceed to Cuddalore.
