Today, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary stressed the importance of people-centric governance in Jammu and Kashmir during his meetings with various public and individual delegations at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu. Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that during these interactions, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that all efforts are being made to ensure the timely completion of development projects and prompt service delivery across all government offices. The delegations, who met with the Deputy CM, came from Kishtwar, Rajouri, Jammu, Kathua, Baramulla, Srinagar, Ganderbal, and other districts of J&K. They raised issues related to the construction of roads, bridges, and culverts, mining-related matters, concerns of the working class, employee-related issues, and other public demands. The Deputy CM assured the delegations that all genuine issues would be taken up with the relevant departments for prompt resolution. He added that the goal is to ensure timely grievance redressal and provide seamless relief to the people. He further stated that officers have been directed to listen compassionately to public concerns and adopt a positive approach for their timely resolution.
