Jammu, February 10: JMC Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav conducted a thorough inspection of Wards 12, 13, 14, and 19, covering areas including Gumat Bazaar, Dogra Chowk, M.A. Stadium, Science College, and surrounding neighborhoods. He reviewed sanitation conditions, ongoing development projects, and civic amenities, directing officials to ensure regular door-to-door garbage collection, proper waste segregation, and timely drain cleaning to prevent waterlogging. During the inspection, illegal encroachments and unauthorized stalls obstructing roads and footpaths were removed. The Commissioner ordered strict action against repeat offenders to prevent further encroachment. Emphasizing continuous monitoring and coordination, he urged citizens to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness and reiterated the JMC's commitment to making Jammu a clean and organized city.
