Pulwama Admin Trains Youth Under Mission YUVA
The Pulwama District Administration organized a Mission YUVA training program at the Circuit House to equip selected volunteers as community mobilizers.
February 13, Srinagar: The Pulwama District Administration organized the Mission YUVA – Training of Yuva Doot Programme at the Circuit House, Pulwama, through the District Employment and Counseling Centre, reaffirming its commitment to youth empowerment and community development.
Held under the theme “Empower, Inspire, and Transform,” the program aimed to orient and train selected youth volunteers, designated as Yuva Doots, to serve as community mobilizers for various youth-centric initiatives under Mission YUVA.
The trained Yuva Doots will play a key role in spreading awareness about self-employment schemes, skill development opportunities, career counseling services, and entrepreneurship support programs among youth at the grassroots level.
On the occasion, the deputy director of employment highlighted the significance of Mission YUVA, stating that the initiative focuses on enhancing employability, promoting entrepreneurship, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. He emphasized that the program seeks to harness the potential of young individuals by providing them with appropriate guidance, skills, and access to government welfare schemes.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from selected volunteers, who expressed their commitment to empowering youth in their respective communities.
The District Administration reiterated its resolve to continue organizing such capacity-building programs to ensure that the benefits of Mission YUVA reach every eligible youth in the district, fostering self-reliance and inclusive growth.
