
New Delhi, February 13 Copper futures rose by Rs 2.60 to Rs 1,240.15 per kg on Friday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery increased by Rs 2.60, or 0.21 percent, to Rs 1,240.15 per kilogram in a trading volume of 968 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
