New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI) – Copper futures fell 0.47% to Rs 824.10 per kilogram on Monday as traders reduced their positions due to weak demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for February delivery dropped by Rs 3.90, settling at Rs 824.10 per kg in a trading volume of 6,271 lots.

Market analysts attributed the decline to speculators trimming their positions, influenced by a sluggish demand scenario in the spot market. The lack of strong buying interest weighed on copper prices in the futures trade.
