New Delhi, Feb 4 (PTI): Copper futures witnessed a modest rise of 0.25% on Tuesday, reaching ₹837.90 per kilogram in response to increased spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), February delivery contracts surged by ₹2.10, or 0.25%, to settle at ₹837.90 per kg, with a total trade volume of 6,295 lots.

Market analysts attributed the price increase to heightened participation and stronger speculative interest in the metal. Copper, a key industrial commodity, often sees price fluctuations based on demand trends, global economic factors, and market sentiment.
