
New Delhi, February 12 Copper futures rose by 60 paise to Rs 1,276 per kg on Thursday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery increased by 60 paise, or 0.05 per cent, to Rs 1,276 per kilogram in a trading volume of 959 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
