New Delhi, February 9 Copper futures rose by Rs 10.45 to Rs 1,282.65 per kg on Monday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery increased by Rs 10.45, or 0.82 percent, to Rs 1,282.65 per kilogram in a trading volume of 590 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by market participants.
