Kathua, February 15: DC XI Kathua secured a convincing 33-run victory over DC XI Samba in a T20 match at the Kathua Sports Stadium.
Batting first, Kathua scored 161/7 in 20 overs, thanks to Amit Sharma's 56 off 42 balls. Karun (30), Jimmy (22), and Amit Jasrotia (26*) also contributed valuable runs to set a challenging target.
In reply, Samba were dismissed for 128 in 19.1 overs despite Robin Singh Rajput's 37 and Surinder Kumar's 24. Kathua's bowlers, led by DC Rajesh Sharma, Vishal, and Karun, bowled disciplined spells to secure the victory.
