Doda, February 10: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, chaired a review meeting of the Health Department at the DC Office Complex to assess performance, progress of ongoing schemes, and fund utilisation. The meeting focused on key health indicators, strengthening primary healthcare institutions, and improving service delivery. The DC conducted a sector-wise review, seeking updates on achievements, gaps, and implementation challenges. He directed officials to ensure optimal fund utilisation, timely completion of works, and strict adherence to guidelines, while adopting a result-oriented approach and strengthening monitoring mechanisms. The review covered the National Health Mission, TB Mukt Panchayats, District and UT Capex works, Nikshay Poshan Yojana, Vaya Vandana Scheme, and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes. Emphasising accountability and coordination, the DC urged officers to ensure effective implementation of schemes, particularly in remote and underserved areas. The meeting was attended by senior health and engineering officials of the district.
