Praveen Khandelwal Leads Rally in Support of India’s Retaliatory Strike Post-Pahalgam Attack
New Delhi, May 19 — In a patriotic display of solidarity, Delhi BJP leaders and workers, led by Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal, organised a Tiranga Yatra on Monday to express gratitude towards the Indian armed forces for Operation Sindoor, a military response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. The rally commenced from Britannia Chowk, with enthusiastic participation from BJP members, including a significant number of women workers. Waving the national flag and raising spirited slogans, the participants marched to honour the courage and sacrifice of India’s defence personnel.
“This procession is being taken out in honour of our armed forces, which taught Pakistan a lesson with their valour. We are fortunate to participate in this yatra,” said Praveen Khandelwal while addressing the gathering.
Operation Sindoor was initiated by India as a countermeasure targeting terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan, following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the death of 26 individuals, most of whom were tourists.
The Tiranga Yatra served as a symbolic tribute to the armed forces and a message of unity and resilience against terrorism.
