BJP Government Prioritises Public Interest and Transparency
On Saturday, New Delhi, May 17 – Chief Minister Rekha Gupta reaffirmed her government’s commitment to completing development projects left incomplete by the previous AAP regime, emphasizing transparency and public welfare as top priorities.Speaking at the inauguration of a water pipeline project in her Shalimarbagh constituency, Gupta assured residents that ongoing developmental initiatives will not be stalled.
Clearing Backlogs from the Previous Government
"Our priority is that public work should not stop. We are busy clearing the previous government's liabilities, like the incomplete work and pending dues," she stated.Gupta criticised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for halting essential schemes, including providing grants to senior citizen associations. She announced that the scheme is being revived and efforts are underway to clear outstanding payments.
Multi-Phase Development Plan for Shalimarbagh
Highlighting a phased development strategy, the Chief Minister detailed that the first phase involves laying and repairing water and sewer lines in various residential blocks. In the next phase, her government will focus on rebuilding and relaying damaged roads and streets.The project marks the beginning of a broader plan to revitalize infrastructure and ensure the restoration and improvement of essential services in the constituency.
