Delhi Couple, Juvenile Son Held for Murder Over Gaming Parlour Dispute in Dwarka.webp

New Delhi, May 12 – In a major breakthrough, the Delhi Police have arrested a couple and apprehended their minor son for their alleged involvement in the murder of a man following a violent altercation in Dwarka's Sewak Park locality.

The accused have been identified as Faisal Hussain (54) and his wife, Ruksana Khatoon (46). Their juvenile son has also been taken into custody. The trio was absconding after they allegedly attacked their neighbour, Molana Hasan, and his sons with sticks and iron rods on April 29, according to police officials.

Dispute Triggered by Gaming Parlour Nuisance

The confrontation reportedly stemmed from persistent disturbances caused by a gaming parlour operated by the accused. The ongoing nuisance led to rising tensions between the two families, culminating in a violent clash that turned fatal.

During the assault, Hasan’s son, Osama, sustained grievous injuries and later succumbed during treatment, police confirmed. A case of murder was promptly registered at the Bindapur police station.

Arrest from the Saket Area

Following intensive efforts, the accused were traced and apprehended in the Saket area on May 9. The police stated that the investigation remains active, with further details expected as the probe progresses.

This incident has raised fresh concerns over neighborhood safety and the regulation of unauthorized gaming parlours in residential areas.
