New Delhi, February 7 A fire broke out at a garbage dump in the Shahdara area of east Delhi on Saturday evening, causing significant damage to approximately three to four vehicles, according to a Delhi Fire Services official.
The fire department received a call about the blaze at approximately 8:36 pm, after which seven fire engines were dispatched to the scene, the official said.
"The fire originated from the garbage dump and spread to the nearby parked vehicles. Firefighting operations are currently in progress," he stated, adding that no injuries have been reported so far.
