New Delhi, Feb 4 (PTI) – The body of an unidentified man, bearing multiple stab wounds, was discovered in East Delhi’s Trilokpuri area in the early hours of Tuesday, police reported.
Authorities were alerted to the crime scene at approximately 12:45 am and found the deceased lying in a pool of blood near a residential building. The victim, believed to be in his 40s, has yet to be identified, police said.
Following a swift investigation, which included questioning local residents and reviewing CCTV footage, law enforcement identified and detained a juvenile suspect linked to the murder.
Preliminary findings suggest the incident stemmed from a sudden altercation that escalated into violence, leading to the fatal attack, according to a police officer. The murder weapon, a knife, has been recovered from the accused.
Efforts are ongoing to establish the identity of the deceased as the investigation continues.
