New Delhi, Feb 27: In the lead-up to International Women's Day on March 8, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a series of engaging activities exclusively for female commuters.

As part of the celebrations, DMRC will organize an on-the-spot pebble art activity and a Sudoku competition at three metro stations from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on different days:

  • March 1 (Friday): Rajiv Chowk
  • March 4 (Monday): Vishwavidyalaya
  • March 5 (Tuesday): Dilli Haat-INA
An online quiz will also be conducted daily from February 28 to March 4 on DMRC’s official social media handle on X (formerly Twitter). The first female commuter to provide the correct answer each day will be rewarded.

Selected pebble art creations from women commuters and DMRC’s female employees will be showcased at various metro stations as part of the initiative.

The results of the Sudoku competition and the online quiz will be announced on March 5 through DMRC’s official website, and X. Winners will be honored with a certificate of appreciation and a prize.

This initiative celebrates and encourages women’s participation while making their metro journeys more interactive and enjoyable.
