Man Arrested for Possession and Sale of Illicit Liquor at His Dhaba
Delhi Police have arrested a 38-year-old dhaba owner for allegedly serving alcohol illegally near Moti Nagar in west Delhi, authorities confirmed on Friday.
The accused, identified as Manik Chandra Mehto, was apprehended after police discovered a significant quantity of illicit liquor at his establishment, which he was reportedly selling unlawfully.
A police constable on routine patrol duty in the Moti Nagar Market received specific information about the illegal activities being conducted at Mehto's dhaba. Acting swiftly on this tip-off, police conducted a raid and recovered the illegal liquor, leading to Mehto’s arrest.
A case has been registered against Mehto, and an in-depth investigation into the matter is currently underway, police officials stated.
