New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI): In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Delhi Police has claimed to have dismantled a narco-syndicate with the arrest of two men and the seizure of smack worth ₹4 crore, officials said on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, the police apprehended Shiva (19) on January 29, recovering 29.512 grams of smack from his possession, an official stated.
During interrogation, Shiva disclosed the name of his accomplice, Sagar (28). Acting on this lead, the police arrested Sagar and confiscated 299 grams of smack from his car.
Authorities have launched a deeper probe into the drug network, and further investigations are underway, police added.
