New Delhi, Feb 4 (PTI): A day ahead of the crucial Delhi Assembly elections, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) R. Alice Vaz met with President Droupadi Murmu to present her voter information slip, reinforcing the Election Commission’s commitment to voter awareness and facilitation.
According to an official statement, the meeting was part of the Commission's ongoing efforts to ensure smooth voting procedures and enhance electoral participation. The voter information slip provides essential details to help voters cast their ballots seamlessly.
Accompanying the CEO were District Election Officer (New Delhi) Sunny K Singh and Booth Level Officer Suresh Giri, who also took part in the interaction with President Murmu.
The 70-member Delhi Assembly will go to the polls on Wednesday, with results set to be announced on February 8.
