New Delhi, April 2 – Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 14.2°C on Wednesday, which is 4.6°C below the average for the season, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather is expected to remain clear throughout the day, with the IMD forecasting mainly clear skies. At 8:30 AM, the relative humidity stood at 50%, indicating moderate moisture in the air. The maximum temperature is predicted to rise to 37°C by afternoon.

However, the city's air quality has been a concern. At 9 AM, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 201, falling under the "poor" category. The AQI scale, as outlined by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), ranges from 0 to 50 for "good" air quality, and anything above 200 is considered unhealthy. With an AQI of 201, Delhi's air quality is considered hazardous for sensitive individuals.

As the day progresses, Delhi residents are advised to take precautions due to the ongoing poor air quality.
