New Delhi residents woke up to a clear and sunny Friday morning with pleasantly cool temperatures. The minimum temperature recorded was 10.2 degrees Celsius, approximately 3.8 degrees below the normal seasonal average, offering a slight chill in the early hours.


According to the latest data, the relative humidity level stood at 63 percent around 8:30 AM. Weather experts have predicted that the maximum temperature will rise gradually, reaching close to 30 degrees Celsius later today.

Delhi's Air Quality Remains Moderate​


Meanwhile, Delhi's air quality continues to stay in the "moderate" range, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reported at 183 at 9 AM, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).


For context, the CPCB categorizes AQI levels as follows:

  • 51-100: Satisfactory
  • 101-200: Moderate
  • 201-300: Poor
  • 301-400: Very Poor
  • 401-500: Severe
