Indian golfer Diksha Dagar continued her strong form on the Ladies European Tour (LET) with a solid second round at the Dutch Ladies Open, carding a 2-under 70 to finish the day tied for ninth place.

At the end of 36 holes, Diksha stood at 3-under-par, placing herself well within striking distance of the leaders going into the final round. Her performance included a composed finish, with three birdies and just one bogey over the last six holes. Earlier in the round, she had two bogeys and one birdie on the front nine, but rallied back on the inward stretch with four birdies against one bogey.

Among the other Indian players, Hitaashee Bakshi, the top-ranked golfer on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour, impressed in her first LET appearance outside India. She shot rounds of 71 and 73 to finish even par, securing a tied-26th position.

Avani Prashanth also made a notable recovery. After a challenging opening round of 77, she bounced back with a 2-under 70, improving her position to tied-51st.

Tvesa Malik (74-75) failed to make the cut, while Pranavi Urs had to withdraw from the event due to an injury sustained after the first round.

Trio Share Lead Heading into Final Round​

The top of the leaderboard sees a three-way tie at six-under-par, featuring England’s Mimi Rhodes, Spain’s Nuria Iturrioz, and Italy’s Alessia Nobilio.

Mimi Rhodes, currently leading the LET Order of Merit with 1,046.88 points, showcased her winning potential with six birdies, aiming for what could be her third victory of a breakout rookie season.

Alessia Nobilio delivered a flawless round, going bogey-free to join the leaders. Meanwhile, Iturrioz, a four-time LET champion, surged into contention with a spectacular 66, including five birdies in her final seven holes.

Spain’s Luna Sobron Galmes made the day’s biggest move, setting a new course record with a sensational 7-under 65.

With one round to go, the tournament at Goyer Golf & Country Club promises a thrilling finish, with multiple contenders vying for the title and Indian hopes riding high on Diksha Dagar.
