DLSA Organizes Public Health Camp with Local Judge.webp


With the goal of raising awareness about Mediation 2.0 and promoting public health, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) of Udhampur organized a free eye and medical camp at the Court Complex in Udhampur today.

The camp was intended to provide essential healthcare services to the general public, including litigants, court visitors, and local residents. A large number of people took advantage of the facility and underwent eye examinations and general health check-ups during the camp.

Medical professionals conducted comprehensive eye screenings, basic medical examinations, and provided consultations to the beneficiaries. Participants were also given guidance on preventive healthcare measures and advised on follow-up treatment as needed.

The Principal and District Sessions Judge of Udhampur, Kalpana Revo, formally inaugurated the camp and praised the efforts of the District Legal Services Authority in organizing a program focused on welfare. She emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare services and noted that such initiatives play a crucial role in promoting public welfare, social responsibility, and awareness among citizens.

The program highlighted DLSA Udhampur's commitment to community service beyond legal aid and awareness by actively supporting public health and well-being. The initiative received a positive response from the public, with many beneficiaries expressing their appreciation for the free medical services provided within the court premises.

DLSA officials stated that similar initiatives will continue to be undertaken to ensure comprehensive support and welfare for the people.
