UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 16: The Department of Social Welfare, Udhampur, organized a one-day exposure tour for outstanding female students from schools, colleges, and CCI Parisha, as part of the "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" initiative.
The program, conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, and the supervision of District Social Welfare Officer Kanika Gupta, aimed to develop leadership skills, confidence, and a practical understanding of governance.
Students visited the offices of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, CDPO, District Hub for Empowerment of Women, and One Stop Centre, gaining insights into administrative functioning, child welfare, women-centric schemes, and policy implementation. Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore motivated the students to set ambitious goals and actively participate in nation-building.
