
February 12, New Delhi – India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman responded to the discussion on the Union Budget in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, a day after her address in the Lok Sabha.
Minister Sitharaman stated that the Budget reflects the achievements of the people, highlighting that the country is experiencing a rare phase of high growth coupled with low inflation.
The Finance Minister also said that the Budget has been designed with the vision of a developed India over the next two decades, while strengthening a resilient and self-reliant nation.
