Finding 'The Spark': Electra on What She Values in a Partner.webp

Los Angeles, February 17 – Hollywood actress Carmen Electra has spoken about her potential next relationship. The actress has shared that she wants to date someone in the arts.

The 53-year-old actress is currently single, but believes that the key to a successful relationship is to enjoy being with a partner, as that helps to "keep the spark alive," according to ‘Female First UK’.

She told Fox News Digital, “You definitely want to keep the spark alive, but you want to be with someone you love being with because that's definitely what will keep the spark alive, right? So, someone whose spirit you admire, someone you connect with on a personal level, someone who isn't negative. I like artists, people who are passionate about art, whatever their art may be”.

The ‘Baywatch’ actress believes that the key to confidence in her 50s comes from trying to be the "best person" she can be.

She said, “My confidence comes from trying to be the best person I can possibly be. I'm a Taurus, so I'm stubborn, but I love life, I love food, I love people, I love love, and I'm very passionate. And I will always be that way. So, that will never change”.

According to ‘Female First UK’, while she gained fame playing lifeguard Lani McKenzie in ‘Baywatch’ from 1997 to 1998, Carmen, who reprised the role in ‘Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding’, hasn't been approached to star in the upcoming reboot, although she is open to the idea.

She said, “I haven't heard anything yet, but I am definitely open to discussing it”.

Carmen recently credited her ex-husband, Dave Navarro, whom she split from in 2006 after three years of marriage, for teaching her how to be romantic. After the ‘Scary Movie’ star shared that she “doesn’t like liars”,

The actress told ‘People’ magazine, “It's just really nice when you're with someone who is really into you. I've experienced that before. It obviously didn't last. But once you know what it feels like to be truly with someone who is so supportive, you can't undo that feeling. It's just beautiful. I want someone who is very romantic. I remember when I was dating Dave, I wasn't very romantic, and he was teaching me how to be romantic”.

“Like, every 10th of the month, we would meet up, because we met on the 10th, and that was all his idea. Like, we would have a special dinner for the 10th of every month, because we met on this date, cute things like that were really thoughtful”, she added.
