A fire erupted at an Axis Bank branch in Delhi's Daryaganj area on Saturday morning, triggering swift action from the city's fire department. The incident occurred at approximately 9:25 AM at the Axis Bank located opposite Golcha Cinema.
According to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the fire originated on the mezzanine floor, quickly engulfing an air-conditioner, furniture, and several bank documents. Responding promptly, the DFS dispatched four fire tenders to the scene.
Firefighters successfully brought the blaze under control by 10:10 AM, ensuring no further damage occurred. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
