New Delhi, Feb 26: A fire erupted in a restaurant at Delhi’s Khan Market in the early hours of Saturday, prompting a swift response from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS). Officials confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident.
The fire station received an emergency call at 2:56 a.m., following which six fire tenders were dispatched to the scene. The flames had originated in the temporary bar and dining structures on the terrace of two adjacent restaurants, both housed in ground-plus-two-storey buildings.
Firefighters successfully contained the blaze, preventing it from spreading further. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
