Agra, March 2: A devastating collision between two motorcycles in Agra claimed the lives of five individuals late Saturday night, while another remains critically injured, according to police reports.
The fatal accident took place around 10 PM when a motorcycle carrying four individuals collided head-on with another bike carrying two riders. The deceased from the first motorcycle have been identified as Bhagwan Das (35), Vakil (35), Ram Swaroop (28), and Sonu (30)—all residents of the Saiyan area. They were returning home from a wedding when the crash occurred.
Eyewitnesses and police sources stated that the four were riding a Splendor motorcycle, which collided with an oncoming Bullet bike. The impact was so severe that all four riders on the Splendor died on the spot.
The Bullet rider, identified as Karan (17), also succumbed to his injuries, while his pillion rider, Kishanveer, sustained severe injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, where his condition remains critical.
Confirming the fatalities, Inspector (Crime) Rajveer Singh of Kagarol police station stated, "Five people have died in the accident, and their bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The injured is receiving treatment at a private hospital."
