Tragic Collision Near Moorad Bridge on National Highway
Kozhikode, Kerala – May 11: A tragic road accident near the Moorad Bridge in north Kerala's Kozhikode district claimed the lives of four individuals on Sunday afternoon, according to local police.
The incident occurred around 3:10 PM in the Payyoli police station area when a car travelling towards Kozhikode collided with a traveller van on the National Highway.
Police confirmed that four people lost their lives in the crash, while eight others in the van and another passenger in the car sustained injuries. All injured victims were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Authorities stated that the deceased individuals’ bodies are currently kept at a hospital in Vatakara.
An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the collision.
