
New Delhi, February 17 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 24 to Rs 5,416 per quintal in futures trading on Tuesday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery rose by Rs 24 or 0.45 percent to Rs 5,416 per quintal, with an open interest of 61,250 lots. This was up from Rs 5,392 per quintal in the previous session.
Market participants said that despite a fall in spot prices, higher investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
