Hyderabad, May 10 — Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy on Saturday appealed to the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to come together in support of the Indian armed forces through special prayers and patriotic rallies.
Speaking to the media, the Union Coal and Mines Minister emphasized the collective responsibility of citizens to stand in solidarity with the soldiers safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and integrity.
He also called for the organization of 'Tiranga yatras' across various locations as a mark of unity and national pride.“I urge the people to perform special pujas in temples of every village, mandal, and district for the safety of Indian soldiers who are fighting for the country's protection,” Reddy said.
Earlier in the day, Reddy visited the renowned Kanaka Durga temple, where he offered prayers for the strength and well-being of the Indian armed forces. Sharing a message on social media platform X, he wrote:
The Union Minister’s appeal comes at a time when sentiments across the country are running high amid ongoing tensions at the borders, prompting widespread demonstrations of support for the military."Offered prayers to Maa Bhawani for greater strength and power to every braveheart defending our borders, thwarting attacks, combating terrorism, and protecting every citizen."
