New Delhi, Feb 4 (PTI) – Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has appointed Gayatri Vasudeva Yadav as its Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President (EVP) of Strategic Initiatives in the Chairman’s Office.
The announcement was made by Isha Ambani, a director on the board of Reliance and daughter of Chairman Mukesh Ambani. Yadav joins Reliance from Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia India and SEA).
"In her new role, Gayatri will work closely with our Chairman, Reliance Foundation Chairperson, as well as Akash, Anant, the entire Executive Committee (EC), and me to drive innovation, enhance brand impact, and deepen customer-centricity culture," Isha Ambani stated.
Akash and Anant Ambani, who are Isha’s siblings and directors on the RIL board, will also collaborate with Yadav in her strategic role.
Expressing confidence in Yadav's leadership, Isha Ambani added, "I am confident that Gayatri will bring fresh perspectives and dynamic leadership to inspire our teams and help propel us toward achieving greater success and growth."
This appointment is expected to bolster Reliance’s marketing strategies and innovation-driven initiatives as the company continues to expand its footprint across various sectors.
