Gayle, Ntini and Panesar to feature in International Masters League

Mumbai, Feb 3 (PTI) – Former cricketing stars Chris Gayle, Makhaya Ntini, and Monty Panesar are set to showcase their skills once again as they gear up for the inaugural edition of the International Masters League (IML), which kicks off on February 22.

The legendary trio will represent their respective nations—Gayle for West Indies Masters, Ntini for South Africa Masters, and Panesar for England Masters. The much-anticipated tournament will take place across three venues—Navi Mumbai, Rajkot, and Raipur—and will run until March 16.

Expressing his excitement for the league, Gayle, known for his explosive batting, stated, "The IML is a fantastic platform to relive those big moments and share the stage with some of the best in the game. I’m ready to bring the Universe Boss energy to this league."

South African pace icon Ntini echoed similar enthusiasm, promising thrilling cricket action. "I can assure you that this reunion is going to be memorable. The cricket we produce will be hard, unrelenting, and breathtaking. Cricket fans are in for a treat," he said.

The tournament will feature six teams—India, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Australia, and England. Indian cricket great Yuvraj Singh had earlier confirmed his participation, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.

With several legendary players set to compete, the International Masters League promises to be a spectacle for cricket enthusiasts worldwide.
