
The General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P K Mishra, visited forward areas along the Line of Control in the Pallanwala sector of Jammu to assess the current security situation and the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the region.
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra held detailed discussions with the GOC of the Cross Swords Division and the GOC of the Romeo Force regarding ground-level deployments, vigilance measures, and coordination mechanisms. The review primarily focused on strengthening the counter-terrorism grid and ensuring a high state of readiness along the sensitive border belt.
Senior officers briefed the Corps Commander on the current security dynamics and the measures undertaken to thwart infiltration attempts and maintain peace along the Line of Control. The General Officer Commanding expressed satisfaction with the professionalism and alertness displayed by the troops and emphasized the need for continued vigilance.
According to the White Knight Corps, the inspection was part of ongoing efforts to reinforce operational efficiency and maintain a robust security architecture in the forward areas.
