
The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has released the 45th Monthly Report on the performance of the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System for Central Ministries and Departments for the month of January. Over 1.76 lakh grievances were resolved by central ministries and departments in January this year, with an average grievance disposal time of 14 days.
The report states that the Department of Telecommunications, Posts, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs topped the 'Group A' category in the rankings, while the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Department of Official Language and AYUSH topped the 'Group B' category. Nearly 68,000 new users were registered last month, with the highest number of registrations from Uttar Pradesh.
The report provides a detailed analysis of the types and categories of public grievances and the nature of their resolution. The department also released the 42nd report of CPGRAMS for states and union territories for the month of January. The department added that over 71,000 cases were received, and over 64,000 grievances were resolved by the states and union territories last month.
